Add to your dinosaur collection with the giant Brachiosaurus. More gentle then the terrifying T-Rex, Brachiosaurus was a vegetarian who used its long neck to eat tall plants and trees. It's name translated literally means “arm lizard”. It acquired the name because its front legs were significantly longer than its hind legs. As such, its long neck pointed automatically upwards and it could eat taller plants with less effort. Fun fact: Brachiosaurus had a very flexible neck that could measure up to nine metres long. This beautifully designed realistic replica from Schleich of this ancient gentle giant comes complete with fact booklet. A great toy for helping build your children’s science and natural history knowledge. Size: 27.5cm x 18cm x 21cm. Ages: 3+
